Thank you for making the 6th annual 2024 Johnson City Jazz Festival at the Carnegie Hotel a rollicking success.

As in the past, all participants from musicians, who loved the opportunity to share their music, to attendees, who appreciated the opportunity to hear live jazz, had a great time listening to quality music in an excellent venue.

The purpose of the Johnson City Jazz Festival is to promote Jazz and give our regional community the opportunity listen to this great American musical genre without having to travel to Knoxville, Asheville, or beyond, while giving local and regional Jazz musicians, such as those involved in the ETSU Jazz department, the opportunity to share their talent and their love for Jazz with the community.

Attendance was up this year and, as a result, the small committee that puts on this event has decided to make a $500 donation to the ETSU Jazz Department.

Without our community’s support, the Johnson City Jazz Festival would not happen, or be able to support programs like the ETSU Jazz Department. Thanks to all who came out to support our efforts to bring and enjoy live Jazz to our community. Be on the lookout for more Jazz events that the Festival organization will help support and promote throughout the coming year.
